The only thing I know about Osteen is where it said he lives in a multimillion dollar home.

If you don’t know that is wrong there is nothing I can say which will change your mind and there is no point in my trying to convince you or anyone else so I am not going to try anymore.

James 5:8 is working against your hypothesis. In that passage James is talking about patiently waiting for the rewards to come after Jesus returns. Trying to make that some type of justification for Osteen’s preaching “get it now” is twisting scripture and using it out of context.
