You are correct. But some theologians have posited that because the Archangel Michael wrestled with Satan over the body of Moses, perhaps God did not bury Moses as stated.

And I know you will recall, God kept Moses burial location a secret.

No inside info on my part. Just passing on what I have read from strange theological musings.

That tells me that he did die. Also God would not allow the Israelites to enter the promised land until Moses was dead.

Don't get me wrong, I'm speculatin just like everybody. But I need to align my speculatin with scripture. :-)
