Your catholic definitive teaching IS a fancy interpretation, and I disagree with your fancy interpretation. You mouth the words correctly, that faith without works is dead. The problem is, your interpretation of faith, and my interpretation of faith are as different as night and day. I am familiar with "catholic speak," so I know where you are coming from. I am reminded of what Jesus said, these people draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, and in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrine, the commandments of men.
