How about answering the questions instead of answering with more questions?
I doubt all Bible scholars agree with your assessment.
Catholics like to claim that Scripture was written from oral tradition some hundreds of years after the events happened, and yet the oldest manuscripts show that to not be the case. They date back to the time of the apostles.
So the whole attempt to turn it around doesn’t work.
Not to mention the fact that they RCC is claiming that some of their traditions have been passed down faithfully for close to 2,000 years.
Ludicrous at best.
Comment (C): How about answering the questions instead of answering with more questions?
Response (R): Having never said that Paul handed on tradition that was not mentioned in Scripture, I do not have an answer to your questions.
C: I doubt all Bible scholars agree with your assessment.
R: I’m not sure what you mean by my assessment, but I agree that not all Bible scholars agree with it. There is very little with which all bible scholars are in agreement.

R: I am not one of those Catholics. I agree with you that the Gospels were written shortly after Jesus’ death.

R: I am not attempting to turn anything around. I am honestly looking for answers about the origin of the gospels. And I can assure you I am not attacking God’s words. I have two sons who are non-believers, and anything I can show them that supports the validity of the Gospels would be helpful.
