Nope. Veneration means deep respect. In English it is different than worship.

And just where in Scripture do you see this distinction made, so that one
kneeling before a statue
and praising the entity it represented in the unseen world,
and as having Divine powers and glory,
and making offerings and beseeching such for Heavenly help,
directly accessed by mental prayer,
would simply be regarded as holy “veneration” except by pagans, in contrast to Biblical worship? . Were do you see even one of these actions, except by pagans. And do you really think this absence and contrast constitutes warrant for doctrine? If so, what cult do you belong to?
