There are no "natural born gays" in our human species. It's a choice but, you are correct, they DO breed themselves out of the gene pool.
Equating an aberrant sexual orientation and priesthood is not only foolish, it's wrong.
Priests choose their profession as a CALLING from God. Catholic priests take their celibacy cue from Jesus, who was celibate Himself.
Homosexuals CHOOSE their aberrant sexual orientation but no one knows why. It sure isn't a "calling" from God.
Even wives of married priests (Anglican, Orthodox) say that their husbands simply don't have enough time and energy in the mind, body and soul to be BOTH
1. A good husband and father
AND
2. a good vicar/reverend/minister.
It's almost a cliché that the Pastor's kids (like the cops' kids) are always in trouble.
You look too deep. It has to do with breeding ability.
Christian Priests are the original one and only community organizers. They have my respect.
