Baptism is merely an outward manifestation of faith.

Something I very much wanted to do that same day, as a signal to me, to the world, to everyone with me that beautifully sunny but windy November Sunday afternoon...with 8 other still-dazed people of various ages...in a cold cold cold W.N.C. mountain river.

Dunked we were! And they held me under a moment, then two...then three...and up we arose, one by one! New creations in Christ, we nine still are today!

That is awesome! I remember my own, but it wasn’t in the river. I listen to ads by various Christian groups which have trips to Israel and while there are baptized in the Jordan. That would be cool.
