These groups are wrong on their position as it contradicts the Word. No Christian denies that.

Much as catholics are wrong on the immaculate conception as it too contradicts the Word as all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Peter was already pulling back from eating with Gentiles due to pressure from the Jews until Paul admonished him.

Meanwhile Pope Urban II promised "Christian" jihad for those who would go fight the muslims. He actually promised that if they died fighting they would go to Heaven!

All of this illustrates what happens when you fall away from the Word. Reading it will keep you on track and in a right relationship with God.

As the Psalmist wrote..."Thy word I have treasured in my heart that I might not sin against Thee.

They do. After all, they're co-religionists who proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior who have studied the scriptures and find no outright prohibition against abortion. It's irrelevant whether you or anyone else thinks they are wrong. Either way Protestantism has already subjected itself to the rule of majority. It was implicit from the beginning. And because Protestantism disregarded Truth for individual convenience, well, as the culture goes so goes Protestantism.

Much as catholics are wrong on the immaculate conception as it too contradicts the Word as all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

It is the protestant that is wrong. On so many counts. The mere existence of Protestantism is a contradiction. A division within the Body of Christ that was not intended. A purely man-made device to achieve whatever its beholders desire.

All of this illustrates what happens when you fall away from the Word. Reading it will keep you on track and in a right relationship with God.

Apparently not. Not when there are those who, through their reading, find(or don't find) what they want in it. Such as a scriptural prohibition against abortion, homosexual sodomy, contraception.
