That's a whole lot of church history behind that teaching, which apparently to anonymous internet Catholic (supposedly) posters, is incorrect. What do all those popes know compared to anonymous internet posters? It means that the supreme autocratic interpretative (by decree) authority may interpret herself in a way that quite apparently is in conflict with herself, and that the interpreter can be fallibly interpreted differently by the laity - even as to what is infallible or not - while they censure Prots for their own lack of an infallible interpreter for their supreme infallible authority.
