Mrs. Don-O, you have posted only PART of the tenet! The last part you omitted demonstrates that my original statement to you is true!

Here's what you SHOULD have posted SO AS NOT TO MISLEAD me or anyone:

819 "Furthermore, many elements of sanctification and of truth"273 are found outside the visible confines of the Catholic Church: "the written Word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope, and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as visible elements."274

Christ's Spirit uses these Churches and ecclesial communities as means of salvation, whose power derives from the fullness of grace and truth that Christ has entrusted to the Catholic Church. All these blessings come from Christ and lead to him,275 and are in themselves calls to "Catholic unity."276

I think it best that you and I not converse anymore.

Sadly,

R2z

I gave you the link --- twice --- so you could read the whole context. Do not unjustly accuse me to concealing anything from you.

My point was that the Catholic Church knows and teaches that elements of sanctification and truth are found outside the walls of the Catholic Church. This unites people to the Catholic Church since the Church is the Body of Christ, and His Body is one: it is not torn apart.

I am happy that you read the context and I would only advise you, in a friendly way, to read more. Since we --- all who love the Lord --- are Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
