If one, or perhaps two, actually studied the Bible, they and three would realize that Jesus had the hots for Mary of Bethany! and if you add one, two and three, they make it six reasons for Jesus and Mary of Bethany to be husband and wife.

Need a sarcasm meter like you know, that other one.
Where does it state that not being married would be mentioned? How common was the names Jesus, Joseph and Mary back then? Were all the disciples married? If not is it significant that it’s not mentioned but it is for Jesus?
This is meant as a smear to Jesus and a stumbling block to Christians. There is not too much that hasn’t been alleged about Jesus, and I am not about to repeat them. Not every Christian is so enlightened that they can absorb all libelous accusations. Jesus Christ was the Lord of the Old Testament that incarnated as Jesus in the New. He did not marry—goes back to Old Testament rules.
What people is the headline talking about?
why would God marry?
If someone believes that Jesus was married, then they believe he was just a mere mortal human and not God. If you think that doesn’t affect faith and Christianity, you are crazy
That is reason #1.
The writers should have consulted you before going to print.
Perhaps it was reported that Jesus never married...
As far as our Salvation is concerned it doesn’t matter a bit, but my opinion is that he was never married or with a woman because of the following Scripture.
Revelation 14:4 New International Version (NIV)
4 These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb.
If they can’t defile themselves then Jesus didn’t either.
1 Corinthians 7:1 New International Version (NIV)
7 Now for the matters you wrote about: It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.
Not necessarily.
There are no reports to that effect that I know of.
No, it is not. It's simply a study of what details we know about the life of Jesus to answer a specific question.
Marriage was the norm. Not to be married when you're 30, in that day and age, would be remarkable and be remarked upon, unless you were a member of some ascetic order. (Jesus reportedly spent some time studying with the Essenes, but was not an Essene himself.)
The names Jesus, Joseph, and Mary were not all that common, from what I understand. Jesus's name (Yeshua) especially. To have all three of these names, plus James and (later) another Mary in one family would be fairly uncommon.
A couple of the disciples were known to have been married. But their ages are never mentioned, nor the marital status of most of them, so we'll never know. But again, if not, it would be unusual after a certain (fairly young) age.
The story is about Jesus, with the disciples as featured players. Nobody really cares if Matthew or James or Thomas was married.
“If someone believes that Jesus was married, then they believe he was just a mere mortal human and not God.”
Agreed. On the other hand, if Jesus and Mary had children, then there must be, somewhere on earth, his descendents, who have inherited some part of his divine nature. So, there must really be an elite race who are destined to rule the rest of us. Who they are, nobody knows, but I’ll bet they are all liberals, Democrats, members of the CFR and of the Illuminati! They are the divine elite, at least in their own minds.
lol
I think people want to believe it because it would be a “gotcha!” against Christians. Like, “See? Everything you believe is wrong!”
But why would Jesus marry? He said at one point that He had no place to lay down His head. That would have been a very tough life for His wife and kids. He also knew He was going to be crucified, leaving his wife a widow and his children fatherless. It doesn’t make sense that He would have married.
Married? No. No evidence whatsoever. Brothers & possibly sisters? Yes. Scripture does point to it.
