If I counted the books I have read since junior high school, it would probably be in the thousands. When I was in junior -high school, I was a student librarian. That meant we had first choices on new books. I took full advantage of that perp. My daughter and 3 of her cousins got together in DC a few years ago. They were all talking about bad things their parents did. The only thing they could come up with about me was that I always had a book in my hands. I do not consider that a bad thing. I do not understand why people do not like to read. When I was young, it was The Bobbsey Twins, Honey Bunch, Nancy Drew, Tom Swift, Hardy Boys, Trixie Belden, Chip Hilton, Cherry Ames, Grace Livingston Hill, etc. I loved to read biographies and they had an orange book cover. I even loved Beowulf, etc. Nowadays, they include William W. Johnstone, J.A. Johnstone, Lee Child, Archer Mayor, Dale Evans, and many more. Reading was the main reason I was so concerned about my recent eye surgery. Many prayers were answered when it was successful. I do enjoy my iPad so I can adjust print size.

“Reading was the main reason I was so concerned about my recent eye surgery.”

Maybe that has something to do with your practice of accusing people of writing that which they didn’t.
