Catholics aren’t the only ones who care deeply about abortion and other abominable social issues.
They (half of them anyway) are the only ones who claim to be pro-life yet vote democrat.
Never suggested they were. Not only do we care, we are very active in attempting to legally reverse pro-choice legal suits. Ever since Roe v Wade became the law of the land, Catholics have established prayer vigils in front on abortion clinics, occasionally resulting in their being incarcerated. We have established programs and homes for those who choose life. We have religious communities devoted to pro-life activities and prayer. Catholics have also established law firms to defend the right to life and won battles, even at the level of the Supreme Court, for any religious denomination who shares the pro-life message.
