Osteen is a fake. Just smile to your neighbor and you will have a good day! Every day is a Friday! He has zero theology and can't teach his millions of viewers nothing more than 3rd grade phrases.

If he billed himself as a feel good motivational speaker, he would be fine.

I wonder if he has considered that Jesus was called a man of sorrows and that each of his disciples were martyred. I wonder if he even knows that.

I'm sure the man knows more about he Bible than most. I'm sure folks walking around with a positive attitude are happier and are blessed with favor. I'm sure Osteen knows his congregation and I'm pretty darned sure God doesn't want us walking around in sorrow all the time. He wants us to rejoice in His name. So start with the rejoicing already!!

Osteen and his business is simply an Enterprise to generate funds, sell books and cd’s and this to make people feel good about themselves. ..and even though he admits so and states so time and again his followers don't hear that. IMO Osteen doesn't evidence he 'knows' scripture, rather he uses it, because if he really knew the scriptures he would "know" what he constantly says he doesn't know.
