No kidding. America has become a abject sewer of socialism and moral depravity. We’ve probably descended well beyond Sodom and Gomorrah at this point.
The final nail for me has been this homo-marriage depravity. Impossible for me to now feel any sense of allegiance or patriotism towards this country anymore. The America I was willing to die for no longer exists. And I’m not going to lift a finger for a country so depraved that it equates two perverted homos as a husband-and-wife.

Those in S and G did not even have the Law nor the Prophets.
We however have the Law, the Prophets and Christian teachings and we still legalize the very acts performed in the two biblical cities, that were condemned by God.

Sodom and Gomorrah’s evil can’t hold a candle to the US these days.
I lived in Queens in 1972 through 76. Of course, disco was raging. I would go to the clubs with my friends to dance, do my hair in a disco style. I was thin, wore polyester dresses.
I was an innocent, and pretty much stayed that way. I kept to my girlfriends and just played it as fun after work on the weekends.
But the other kids were getting pretty wild on drugs, sex, going into homosexual experiences, having babies out of wedlock, boys getting girls pregnant and leaving or girls thinking who needs a husband, meanwhile drowning in poverty from that decision and the children taking the worst of it. Sexual diseases spreading like wildfire, no one had heard of HIV yet. Drinking heavily was rife.
I still remember thinking, ‘how could Sodom and Gomorrah be any worse’ and then thought of the other big cities that were likely following suit, LA, SF, Boston...I wondered why Sodom and Gomorrah got the bad rep. I knew we were no better.
It’s been years of it now.
Dr. Graham is just one of my favorite people of all time. Period.
I did a study on what the Bible says about child sacrifice, the shedding of innocent blood, etc. It took about 3 months. Before the Israelites went into the promised land they were warned not to do what the natives were doing. Israel was being sent into the land and given it not because they were better than those living there but because the natives were burning their babies alive.
Later,King Manasseh didn’t believe the God of Israel was the Only One True God and started the practice. It was a corporate punishment. IT WAS THE ONLY TIME THAT GOD WOULD NOT FORGIVE the nation.
“However, the LORD did not turn from the fierceness of His great wrath with which His anger burned against Judah, because of all the provocations with which Manasseh had provoked Him. And the LORD said, “I will remove Judah also from My sight, as I have removed Israel. And I will cast off Jerusalem, this city which I have chosen, and the temple (house) of which I said, ‘My name shall be there’.”
“Surely at the command (mouth) of the LORD it came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, and also for the innocent blood which he shed, for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; AND THE LORD WOULD NOT FORGIVE.” (All caps mine) 2 Kings 23: 26 & 27 and 24: 3 & 4
I always point out that Manasseh repented! He was forgiven. His grandson was Josiah who lead Israel into a great revival. However, again later, a king resumed the practice and they were invaded by the Babylonians. Some were killed, some were taken as slaves (Daniel, etc) and a few were left (there have always been some Jews in the promised land).
God’s judgment here on earth is not always simultaneous as a consequence but do we know of any civilizations that have practiced human sacrifice and still exist? Did you know that the Native Americans (not all tribes) did practice human sacrifice? When God’s wrath is released at the end, He warns us and also says that it is vengeance for the killing of all the prophets. Food for thought.
As a child (teen+) I wondered how God could justify total world catastrophes, but we all know that child sacrifice is a world wide practice. God is just. Also, I am a post-tribulationist. My heart fears for my son and his new wife but read Revelation and see that before the wrath of God is released, those who believe in God are sealed on their foreheads. Then Satan makes people get his mark. Some believers will die, some will become slaves, and some will be nomads.
If God wanted to He could have a world wide revival, but He would still have to avenge those being sacrificed in our hospitals and clinics. Personally, I say get it over with. I want the babies to stop being murdered as soon as possible and I don’t want it to happen again after a revival.
Does anyone know if abortions were performed at any time in the past, say before WW1 or WW2? I vaguely remember something about the doctors refusing to do them and getting the laws written against it. If so, we are in the second phase.
