The city of Houston has issued subpoenas demanding a group of pastors turn over any sermons dealing with homosexuality, gender identity or Annise Parker, the citys first openly lesbian mayor. And those ministers who fail to comply could be held in contempt of court.
The citys subpoena of sermons and other pastoral communications is both needless and unprecedented, Alliance Defending Freedom attorney Christina Holcomb said in a statement. The city council and its attorneys are engaging in an inquisition designed to stifle any critique of its actions.

Except Jihad or Race War is consistent with the positions of the Demoncratic Party. Those preachers get a pass and Party Secretary Obama will cover for them.

Many here knew that Christians would be put on the defensive and targeted by various lib laws and/or precedent.
I am not a Christian, I do not believe the Bible or the teachings of Christ but I've been saying this for time.
The Left desires to destroy our way of life and if they can't do it by "education" they will do it by force. It has happened before; my family was forbidden to follow The Way, speak their language and to live their lives in balance.

Let’s expand your quote, from “Inside every Liberal there is a Dictator” to, like an Alien baby, “Inside every Liberal there is a Dictator waiting to get out”.

How would this play if say, oh, George W Bush subpoenaed the "sermons" of every black church in Texas?
Even the rocks would cry out.

The pastors should offer to post their sermons in the local paper, two each week, if the city picks up the tab, and at least place them on a web site.
It is the demand that is the issue, and the reason behind them.

For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard. (Acts 4:20) May we all act in that Spirit.

If she wants to throw our the Separation of Church and State, then her offices and public officials also stand open to be seized, arrested, tried and convicted of crimes against God by a Church. It works both ways.

This type of tyranny is national law now in Canada. The national government gained control of the pulpit. Obedience to Caesar is not demanded of believers from GOD when it means disobedience to GOD's Word and conscience before Him.
Many of the Disciples and Apostles paid the ultimate price when Caesar and the religious leaders of the day demanded they stop preaching The Gospel. Make no mistake they will sooner rather than later be demanding believers denounce The Bible, The Gospel within, GOD, & Jesus Christ or face fines, prison, or death. They get their way winning smaller fights like demanding a Homo wedding cake baked by Christians.

Actually, pastors need to get arrested for such a thing as this, so that the people might realize how far the USA is gone, and march en mass to the City Hall and demand to be arrested if opposing sodomy is such a violation of the Law.
If going to church and worshiping God/Christ resulted in 89% of new HIV cases, with overall a greatly increased incidence of infectious diseases and premature death, and being primarily responsible for the death of over half a million Americans - despite 30 years of trying to promote a "safe" way to engage in it - at the least i do not think it would be advocated and encouraged, and those who did not agree with it shouted down as "racist" and Christianophobic, and depriving Christians of their rights by outlawing it, which they should if this relation was so manifestly evident.

It is the demand that is the issue, and the reason behind them. Nail them to her door so she has to see them. Make them all on Sodom and Gomorrah except for one. Make it the heart of The Gospel on John 3:16 and put it on top of them all.
