I came across EWTN one night weeks ago. I have never, ever seen more bored looks on any faces like I did then. They looked like they had rather be anywhere else than where they were. Never will forget those looks.

You did, did you? And so now your entire view of the Catholic faith can be reduced to the look on someone's face on the TV screen.

I suppose you prefer snake-handling, speaking in tongues, yelling and screaming. Whatever to get your heart rate up, because we all know that is when Christ is made present.

I have never ever been to a snake handling church in my life nor any of the others you listed. I do not support snake handling but, if others do, that is their business between God and them. When I see church services on tv, I really expect people to act like they are glad to be in God’s House. Are you mind reading about the heart rate? I have sensed God’s presence during a very quiet song, sermon, etc. Then, I have sensed His presence during “I’ll Fly Away.” We just have to listen for Him.
