That is what a Protestant would say no doubt. However, the Traditional teaching of Christ's Church, the Catholic Church is that part of having faith in Christ includes being a member of His Church, the Catholic Church. Therefore, extra Ecclesiam nulla salus.

Now if you define the word church to mean those who follow Christ then I agree. But it doesn't mean the catholic church as it is presently constituted.

Christianity worships Jesus the Christ.
Christianity does not include worshiping a goddess/matriarch, committing grotesque descerations of human remains (kissing skulls) or praying to dead humans.
