No, Rood has never changed the meaning of anything that I have seen; he makes the meaning clearer, and easier to remember.

And every minister that I can recall does indeed encourage people to write in explanations in the margins of their Bibles, and most serious students do so, as can be seen when they open those Bibles in a meeting.

I’ve shown you on this very thread where you have changed the words which changed the meaning of scripture. Explanations in the margins is much different then changing the very words in scripture.

I could go on and on but here is just one example.

Rood's version.

" I have not written everything that could, or should be written about Yahshua of Nazareth, but these things I have written, so that you might know and believe that Yahshua is the messiah." Yochanan (John) 20:30-31

From real scripture.

John 20:30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Notice any differences in Rood's MIV version? Also some important lines omitted? Don't tell me he doesn't change scripture.
