So you see, whenever the protestant Catholic attempts to discredit the Catholic Church Reformation by bringing up "bad" popes reformers, they are just engaging in projection. not a good analogy at all...the bad popes were merely CEO's of an organization which remained faultless even while they ruled. The "reformers" as you refer to them were actively teying to lead people away from Christ's church. Theologically speaking, they were all bad.
