Nah, they just write it off as one of the *mysteries of the faith* like they do with any blatant contradiction they espouse.

That allows them to tell whoever they're talking to what ever they want them to hear and then the RC's are always *right*.

Why should that be a concern of yours? Especially in the context of this mode of communication. Could it be that the cult of personality is inherent in Protestant expression and being able to divine motive/sincerity is explicit in determing truth. The Donatist tendency emerging most often expressed as, "he doesn't speak to me. I'm moving on to the next ecclesial community down the road."
