Why would intelligent, successful people give up their careers, alienate their friends, and cause havoc in their families...to become Catholic? Indeed, why would anyone become Catholic?
As an evangelist and author who recently threw my own life into some turmoil by deciding to enter the Catholic Church, I've faced this question a lot lately. That is one reason I decided to make this documentary; it's part of my attempt to try to explain to those closest to me why I would do such a crazy thing.
Convinced isn't just about me, though. The film is built around interviews with some of the most articulate and compelling Catholic converts in our culture today, including Scott Hahn, Francis Beckwith, Taylor Marshall, Holly Ordway, Abby Johnson, Jeff Cavins, Devin Rose, Matthew Leonard, Mark Regnerus, Jason Stellman, John Bergsma, Christian Smith, Kevin Vost, David Currie, Richard Cole, and Kenneth Howell. It also contains special appearances by experts in the field of conversion such as Patrick Madrid and Donald Asci.
Ultimately, this is a story about finding truth, beauty, and fulfillment in an unexpected place, and then sacrificing to grab on to it. I think it will entertain and inspire you, and perhaps even give you a fresh perspective on an old faith.

I stand corrected....I should have said that al TRUE Christians were Catholic....there were a few groups declaredto be teaching falsehoods who called themselves followers....they were in error.
That is just another lie from the Catholic Church that too many have fallen for. True believers know the truth.
1 Corinthians 3:16 have ye not known that ye are a sanctuary of God, and the Spirit of God doth dwell in you?
Romans 8:9 And ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God doth dwell in you; and if any one hath not the Spirit of Christ -- this one is not His;
It's a sad thing to be held under the deception of the Catholic cult.
Fixed it for you.
which of my brilliant statements are you referring to???
You are wrong
TrueCatholic believers know the truth. Fixed it for you
I can’t believe you just posted that. Without sin yet erred? Had bad thoughts but yet sinless? Say what???
Catholics sure do like to take credit away from God don't they.
where???? besides, the Catholic church teaches that she was concieved without sin, not that she never erred throughout her life. She may have had some pretty bad thoughts toward those who were beating and crucifying her Son.
Actually the catholic doctrine teaches she was "free" from both. There is another error in this teaching below....Mary did not offer Jesus as a sacrifice. Christ offered Himself as the sacrifice. So there are two errors in this teaching of the catholic church.
It was she, the second Eve, who, free from all sin, original or personal, and always more intimately united with her Son, offered Him on Golgotha to the Eternal Father for all the children of Adam, sin-stained by his unhappy fall, and her mother's rights and her mother's love were included in the holocaust. source: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/pius_xii/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-xii_enc_29061943_mystici-corporis-christi_en.html
In Luke 1 Mary admits she is a sinner in need of a Savior.
The account in Luke 2 shows she was a sinner when she and Joseph offered the sin offering in accordance with Leviticus 12. That Mary and Joseph did this totally contradicts this false teaching by the catholic cult.
Romans 3:23 notes ALL have sinned negating the idea of the immaculate conception. No exceptions carved out.
God does not contradict Himself.
Too much rhetoric.
In this last, it has turned the Church into something of a (little) red light district, wherein Christ, being His own mother also ("Mary" is the church too, right?) will show up to marry the Bride of Christ (the Church is the Bride, is it not?) with the whole affair (no pun intended) becoming reminiscent of Rodman dolling himself all up in order to marry ---- himself.
I had successfully avoided ever seeing that picture. And then, you...you...you...
ARRGGH!
You are wrong, again, and still.
on your great roios box it says Rome’s own interpretation of scripture....that Interpretation has lasted for 2,014 years...it was somewhere in the 1600’s that certain people (not mentioning any groups) began to interpret things to meet their own needs. Now there are such diverse groups all of whom think that their particular interpretation is correct.Only 1 can be correct and I’ll choose the 2,014 year old one.....seeing that they wrote it.
You are wrong!
Your tagline is backwards.
we do....you have grape juice....enjoy!!
Your in depth analysis and well documented reasoning is ......well........obvious.
You are wrong!
Did Jesus drink His own blood and eat His own flesh?
