After further testing, Ryan was diagnosed as having Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (which was why he was not recovering from the virus, apparently). He is in critical condition; please ping everyone to update and for additional prayers.
May all that pray for Ryan be drawn closer to our dear brother Jesus and in so also be united in Christ in prayer to God our almighty father thru the grace, peace, mercy and love of the holy spirit.

Praying for Ryan. Once Ryan is stabilized he faces a very long chemotherapy regimen. My son’s form of leukemia was not as serious as Ryan’s and lasted 4 years. This young man will need our prayers for a long time. Please keep us updated.
