(For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus)

Jesus said to them again, Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.

1 Cor 2 NIV
2 And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.[a] 2
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirits power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on Gods power.
How would Satan enjoy us being reminded that our sins lead to Our Lord being crucified? This is a very real reminder of our sins and the damage they do.
