Do you also see that the others do not do what was described either, it's just misinterpreted?

I'm not exactly sure what you are saying. Here's a commentary from boatbums to dsc:
Everything you are whining about has been said by the other side at some time. The truth is nobody is "protected" when they flaunt the rules - and that happens much more from the pro-Catholic side than the non. Anytime you believe someone is being dishonest, you have the freedom to expose it. Unreason and malice...those are in the eye of the beholder, are they not? Here's a suggestion...why don't you stay OFF the open Religion Forum threads for a while seeing as you get so worked up and all? The RM warns all the time about how a thick skin is required to participate. Why don't you take some time to do some thickening? You'll probably feel better.

Emphasis; mine
You don't see condescension [and bossiness] in this post? [There are many posts — I call them toners to myself — like this from boatbums.] Or you don't think anyone should mention it if they do?

You see "condescension" and "bossiness"? Unless you are able to read my mind, you cannot possibly know the attitude behind my comment. Like I said, it was a "SUGGESTION". I would prefer that people unable to tolerate open debates about their religion refrain from coming here since they seem only to cause flame wars and disrupt the progress of the discussion. Their "feelings" get hurt and they strike out at those they see as "bashing" them personally when most of the time it isn't at all personal and the personal is avoided. The Mods have enough to do as it is. Shouldn't we be able to police ourselves? We aren't children.

As has been mentioned many times, if you (or any poster) is too thinskinned for the open threads, they should not be on them.

All you are doing is making it personal...about you and posters you won’t debate, but will make personal accusations. Which can cause flame wars which the RM does NOT like, and will not tolerate.

Thinskinnedness cause those kinds of reactions, probably why the RM exhorts those that can’t debate and who bring it into the personal realm to go to other type of threads.

There is a topic to this thread, and it seems you are deflecting from it with your constant complaints about things you “mindread” into other posters thoughts.

If we all mentioned toners, non-Catholics would be busy mindreading instead of debating the issues.

So which Popes are right about Mary, the old ones or the more recent one?
