And the verse Catholics use to justify drinking blood is not a *short quote*? Catholics rest an awful lot on *short quotes*.

Stuff like the papacy, works required for salvation, the sinlessness and immaculate conception of Mary, the authority of the church, the alleged ability of priests to forgive sin,

ALL those and more rest on ONE short quote, always taken out of context and always shown to be used by the Catholic church in violation of passages of other Scripture.

That verse they use as a proof text for eating flesh and drinking blood, violates the entire weight of Scripture up to that point. Jesus could not have done it.

Your commnet: That verse they use as a proof text for eating flesh and drinking blood, violates the entire weight of Scripture up to that point. Jesus could not have done it.

How do you know? Are you saying that Jesus was not truthful?

You do not accept the word of Jesus. You do not believe. You are not required to accept the teachings of the Catholic Church, but I do not understand why you do not believe when Jesus says something very clearly.

Many have tried to inform you, but need faith and inspiration from the Holy Spirit to fully understand.
