What truce? The moslems laid siege to Vienna twice after the Crusades, they brutally occupied Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, the Balkans, and etc. into the 1800’s and 1900’s. They openly waged war on America and our very first war was against the muslim pirates.

They’ve been at war with everyone else for all of their existence and there’s NEVER been a truce, just times when they were not strong enough or confident enough to attack us.

If you think losing the last Christian stronghold in Israel after which we made no further attempts to capture Israel until the 20th century is "beating them into submission", then I don't want to know what you think "losing" is. (Acre's fall was the end of the last Crusade.)
