The Roman church Paul wrote to in no way resembles the Roman Catholic Church of today.

>>It’s entirely possible there’s no basis for claiming a Babylonian source for Roman Christianity.<<

You haven't seen the posts from caww of how the Babylonian pagan symbols have been incorporated into the Catholic Church? You haven't seen where I posted the Catholic Churches own admission that in fact they have incorporated paganism?

All spurious.

We include everything from CDs, to DVDs, to fads in our worship settings today. If a preacher pulls a sermon illustration from a book does that mean he endorses the book? Does it mean he rejects it?

Grave lootings have proven to be very profitable, since display of catholic “holy relics” always brings in thousands of people from the catholic faith and gazillions in cash.

To examine old decayed corpses have always been risky business for the employees of the Vatican so they protect themselves from potential disease and other unknown possible contamination .....yet these corpses and body parts, which will be removed and exhibited.... are then proclaimed "Holy" ????

Jesus said..."Let the dead BURY the dead!"...
