As I said, the only way to take away sin is through the penalty of death, which Jesus took on our behalf.

And God cannot take away sin in any other manner? And whose to say that the salvific nature of Christ's sacrifice is limited in a linear fashion. Here's a thought: Maybe the salvific nature of Christ's sacrifice applies outside of space and time. Imagine that. A God who isn't constrained by the temporal plane. The protestant god is a small god indeed. Confined to an artificial man-made construct meant to ensure that god does not escape outside the bounds of human "reason".

Some people have an obsessive need to worship a goddess.

You might as well have said some people have an obsessive need to worship a deity. I mean if someone is going to put forth the standard atheistic secular polemic then might as go all the way. Ah, but that only applies to those "other" people. Not me. I have the true faith. Anyone with an ounce of intellectual integrity knows that Catholics do not worship Mary and that she is not a goddess. I wonder if protestants realize just how insane they sound when they start spouting this esoteric and gnostic da Vinci Code pagan garbage. It would be laughable if it wasn't so pathological.

You can't have it both ways.

God is a loving God but He's also a just God.

He can do what he wants but He follows his own rules.

Do you believe God is a masochist? He went to the cross to pay or all sins. Unless His word is a lie that includes Mary.

The goddess you worship is false. Turn away before it's too late.

Oh...it’s sadly amusing to hear people who condemn non-cathothics for “sola-scritura” and in the same breath condemn them for “making things up.”

How about those papal decrees?

By the way. The di vinci code was made up by atheists. Your blind hatred is only overshadowed by your ignorance.

Print this out...

CLUE

Carry it. Now you have a clue.

If He took away her sin nature, then she wasn’t a sinner and didn’t need a savior.

And if He kept her from sinning, He took away her free will as well.

If He could do that for her, He could do it for the entire rest of the human race. And He didn’t.

Care to tell us why He wouldn’t have done that and spared us so much misery and suffering?
