Here's a thought: Maybe the salvific nature of Christ's sacrifice applies outside of space and time. Imagine that. A God who isn't constrained by the temporal plane. And if He kept her from sinning, He took away her free will as well.
If He could do that for her, He could do it for the entire rest of the human race. And He didn’t.
