I never read as much Scripture in my entire Catholic life as I did within the first couple days of owning my new Bible.
Same here. I bought Bible software and read multiple translations side by side with a concordance and a commentary.
I now own a “parallel Bible” with four translations.
To be honest, when I first read the Bible I was a bit angry about all the false teaching I received from Catholicism.

That's a common comment from those who come out of Catholicism. I can easily understand that. I most certainly would be.

Hello.
I bought my first Bible a few days after I was saved.
It was a great experience. The lady who operated the little book store prayed with me because she understood the journey that I had just begun.
It was exciting to see what being part of God’s family meant - both to me and to my new brothers and sisters in Christ.
God is Good...
