Pope Francis, "If Mary is not your Mother, you are an orphan!"
Charisma News ^ | 9/5/2014 | Jennifer LeClaire

Pope Francis has been a breath of fresh air for many Catholics seeking greater liberty and a growing concern for conservative Christians who take issue with his comments about homosexuality and other cultural issues.

But the pontiff's latest statement is sparking an uproar from believers around the world. Pope Francis sent a tweet Tuesday that absolutely violates the truth of Scripture:

"The Christian who does not feel that the Virgin Mary is his or her mother is an orphan," Pope Francis tweeted.

As of the time I wrote this column it had been retweeted about 4,000 times and many of the responses were in appropriately unkind. It's not appropriate to attack the pope for his beliefs. It's more appropriate to share the truth...

These little jabs are like that little thing that jumps out of Jabba the Hut’s lap and torments Princess Leia.

Come yapping the ankle biter.

Good grief! That is a prophesy of bringing the nation of Isreal back together. That wasn’t talking about physical bones from dead bodies.

Yeah, they could have propped up rotting corpses around the sanctuary and saved money!

And maybe counted them as part of the 1.2 billion strong......

Most Christians anymore are terrified of death, haunts, ghosts, witches, warlocks, etc., etc.

They’re seemingly not strengthened at all by the conquest of death by Jesus. They fear evil things that go bump in the night.

Not any that I know.

We all know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.

It's the non-Christians I know who are afraid of that stuff.

Most people won’t reveal, and rightly so, what church they go to and attend.....it’s a safety issue. ..and wise to be careful. You never know who is going to get information on you on line.

The few who did ended up regretting it.

The minute you are labeled and pigeon holed, someone will find the craziest, most whacked out person who they claim represents your religion and try to associate you with it, all based on the alleged fact that they are allegedly part of the same denomination.

And there is the identifying people issue. In some cities where there is only one or two churches of a particular denomination, something like Calvary Chapel, or Assemblies of God, if the person revealed their denominational affiliation, it would not take a lot of work to figure out who they were, and who needs anonymous internet stalkers making their lives hell?

Of course, even that is not a valid reason for some.

There was nothing about parading them about, bowing to them, adorning them with jewels or kissing them.

It’s a pagan practice similar to the Nationalist Socialist practice of making lampshades out of human skin.

I love that rosary but haven’t yet purchased it; kids like it a lot too, as it’s not scary (with the colorful skulls). Remembering that your own death is imminent is helpful. We tend to forget these things sometimes.

Josh 24: The bones of Joseph, which the Israelites had brought along with them when they left Egypt, were buried at Shechem, in the parcel of ground Jacob had bought from the sons of Hamor for 100 pieces of silver. This land was located in the territory allotted to the descendants of Joseph.

Yeah. BURIED.

Not put on display for all the Israelites to fawn over and kiss.

Direct translation from the Greek text.

1 John 5:7 because three are who are testifying in the heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these -- the three -- are one;

So why not make a jumbo sized rosary using human skulls?

I purposely left out the word “whimsical”...used to describe these skull beads......there again catholics misuse, abuse and twist words and meanings to suite their agenda......rather than acknowledge the obvious....that is decepetion at work.

It was all about God being in authority over death and bringing new life to those bones.

Are you afraid of bones in a human physiology class?

2 Kings 13

13 Jehoash rested with his fathers, and Jeroboam succeeded him on the throne. Jehoash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.

14 Now Elisha was suffering from the illness from which he died. Jehoash king of Israel went down to see him and wept over him. “My father! My father!” he cried. “The chariots and horsemen of Israel!”

15 Elisha said, “Get a bow and some arrows,” and he did so. 16 “Take the bow in your hands,” he said to the king of Israel. When he had taken it, Elisha put his hands on the king’s hands. 17 “Open the east window,” he said, and he opened it. “Shoot!” Elisha said, and he shot. “The LORD’s arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Aram!” Elisha declared. “You will completely destroy the Arameans at Aphek.”

18 Then he said, “Take the arrows,” and the king took them. Elisha told him, “Strike the ground.” He struck it three times and stopped.

19 The man of God was angry with him and said, “You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times.”

20 Elisha died and was buried. Now Moabite raiders used to enter the country every spring. 21 Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders; so they threw the man’s body into Elisha’s tomb. When the body touched Elisha’s bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet.

....”sun, son is a basic human observation that has nothing to do with a pantheon of gods answer put together by a religion that has an ax to grind with another religion.”....

It is the “Son” that separates Christianity from all other religions....not SUN.

True Christianity serves the ‘only risen’ savior...all others worship those who are dead.
