I have little use for Joel Osteen. However, I at one time had a boatload of his father’s books.

I discovered John Osteen's television preaching during some particularly dark times, and they helped immensely. A few of the things he said are etched in my memory. He quoted and taught from the Bible and wasn't afraid to call something sinful. Not so with Joel.
