The all about me, here and now croud is one that begins at birth...
For most, it ends at the grave...
That is why what Messiah taught and lived is so counter to the sinful world.
Because this life isn’t about us, here or now..
It is about Him, His Kingdom and spending eternity in His Kingdom with Him.
But hey, the olsteens have received their rewards..no arguing their beliefs have made them well off..
not lying
not stealing
not murdering
not going into debt
not worshiping money
not committing adultery
not worrying
being happy and content
not being jealous and envious of others
being good stewards of the earth
loving your neighbor
giving instead of receiving
ALL of these things and everything else in the bible WILL lead you to have a happier, healthier, wealthier, more content and fulfilled life.
Loving God and doing our best to live our life as he has directed us DOES direct benefit us.
