The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Committee on Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs has strongly reaffirmed its commitment to engage in dialogue with Muslims.
After citing texts from the Second Vatican Council and St. John Paul II on dialogue with Muslims, the committee stated that sadly, in recent years, there has been a deliberate rejection of this call to engage in dialogue with our Muslim brothers and sisters by some in the Catholic Church and in other ecclesial families.
The committee continued:
We understand the confusion and deep emotions stirred by real and apparent acts of aggression and discrimination by certain Muslims against non-Muslims, often against Christians abroad. We, and increasingly our Muslim partners in dialogue, are concerned about these very real phenomena. Along with many of our fellow Catholics and the many Muslims who themselves are targeted by radicals, we wish to voice our sadness, indeed our outrage, over the random and sometimes systematic acts of violence and harassmentacts that for both Christians and Muslims threaten and disrupt the harmony that binds us together in mutual support, recognition, and friendship.

Dialogue implies the presence of reason and rationality. As Bendict XVI pointed out at Regensburg, according to Muslim teaching, the God of Islam does not act rationally...."God is absolutely transcendent. His will is not bound up with any of our categories, even that of rationality."
How is dialogue possible with followers of an irrational god?
Surprise, surprise.
Lord, send us a Catholic pope to repeal Vatican II and all of its heresies.
The USCCB. These people are incapable of rational thought..just like the followers of ROP..
Why don’t they just start bowing to Mecca?
Their sucking up to the ACA, and open borders is working out so well for us Catholic Peons.
As a TLM attendee, and very Conservative Catholic, we are deceiving ourselves if we think we can dialogue with these people. Time for a renewal of the Crusades!
Two things Modernists are not: naïve and stupid.
They know exactly what they’re doing. They are continuing with the agenda put in place at Vatican II.
841 The Churchs relationship with the Muslims. The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankinds judge on the last day.330
To even begin to suggest that Islam represents even a remote semblance of Catholic doctrine beggers belief. "Culling their own flock" is what these suicidal theologians persist in undertaking. Pun intended.
Let’s see what pre-Vatican II saints had to say about Islam:

And pre-Vatican II popes:
More ecumaniacal nonsense from the USCCB. Tend to your flock, bishops, before the become the portions wolves.
