We’ll have to trust her for her testimony of faith. Now she needs to be taught what’s in her Bible.

Exactly. She is a baby Christian. We often expect new believers who are in the public spotlight to be mature in the faith already. Those who are in her faith community have a responsibility to teach her the Bible. She has a responsibility to study it.

Many modern day Christians are turned off by the Bible, instead relying on “what God speaks to their heart”. Unfortunately, since they think the Bible is outdated, they won’t turn to the preserved Word, to check to see if what “God has spoken to them” is in fact true. If a modern day Christian believes something that is not supported by scripture, then what they believe comes from the spirit of anti-christ, but they don’t care, because what they believe makes them “feel good.”

Wrong.
The same Bible you want to teach her about plainly declares that this is a sin, and an abomination as well in the eyes of our Lord.
If you are actively engaged in sin, or supporting, which according to the Bible makes you guilty of that sin, you cannot name the Name of Christ as your own. You are no longer born again, you have forsaken Christ. Either, as Paul stated, "Old things pass away, all things become new" to those that are in Christ Jesus or they don't. Either there is now no condemnation(active sinning) to those in Christ Jesus or there isn't.
Either the Bible is true, or it is not.

Well have to trust her for her testimony of faith. Wrong. Jesus said we'd know them by their fruit. 1 John tells us to test all spirits to see if they are of God.
"For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; . . Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit. 1 Thess 4:1-8

98 % of the so called church have no depth of understanding of the Word. It is only a mega church good feeling and some funky songs. If the second coming of The Christ was today most of these folks would have to hear about it on the news. As the church lady said (Isn't that special)

I do not trust her at all because no one could be that ignorant of Biblical teachings.
Nothing but a Trojan horse.
