That was the Big Bang...
I bet God can make a hole in one at 300 yards with a pitching wedge....
The Hebrew word translated as “help meet” in the KJV simply means helper, there is no connotation of mating in that word.
10. Make a burrito so spicy that even He can't eat it.
The day he played Moses and Noah and he aced the first hole, a par4. his drive hit a tree, caromed into a boulder, then a osprey grabbed the ball and proceeded dropping it on the green, where a rabbit ran over and bumped into the hole!
Moses then said to God “ We told you last time you keep playing that way and we will quit!”
God has temptation in his face. Jesus was tempted by Satan to skip the cross among other parlor tricks. So I would say; 7. God cannot give in to temptation.
Note the significance of this. It isn't that God didn't know what Adam was going to call the animals. The assigning of names indicates superiority. For God to allow Adam to assign the names of the animals is to ratify Adam's superiority over the animals. Although Adam is a created being, just as the animals are, he is not "just another animal."
God cannot die or even kill Himself, because if He could, He would not be eternal.
RE: God cannot give in to temptation.
And Jesus answering said unto him (Satan), It is said, ‘Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.’ (Deuteronomy 6:16)
9. Cannot vote six times in Chicago (because He’s not dead!)
Override the human “free will”.
Make a square circle.
was God truthful when he asked abraham to sacrifice his son...
or just pulling his leg...
t
And yet Satan defied Him. Bad guys don’t care except to break the law. Jesus sets a great example there. God will not allow us to be tempted beyond our ability to resist, and always gives us an out from temptation.
Characters constantly tempt God, but He is not affected. So as a matter of semantics, I suppose one temps God, but He is not tempted. I think the use of language limits the comprehension of this verb’s use.
Can’t figure out Obamacare.
RE: was God truthful when he asked abraham to sacrifice his son...
God said, Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you. (Genesis 22:2)
In what way is this either a lie or a truth? It was simply a command, not a statement of fact or even a promise.
10. He can’t make anyone love him
“The Hebrew word translated as help meet in the KJV simply means helper, there is no connotation of mating in that word.”
Whatever. God brought all the animals expecting Adam to pick one. Adam rejected God’s offering.
He cannot become a man.
RE: He cannot become a man.
I take it you don’t believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate?
