Thank you all for your prayers....
Amanda continues her amazing recovery....outside of her left leg.....she appears to be almost back to normal (although we need to bring her to a eye doctor when we get home....hoping there are no issues)...
However, even her left leg is responding. She has some movement of her ankle now...more each day....and....walked using a cane yesterday....up and down the hall way...with little or no assistance.
The doctors feel she will be able to walk without any assistance down the road....they did not give a timeline....but felt it should not be to long....
We come home this Saturday....6.5 weeks after the nightmare began....My daughter is alive and appears to have experienced a miracle in healing...
I pray her mind and soul follow as she starts out patient physical and drug rehab on Long Island. We hope to send her back to Florida before the end of the year for further in-patient drug rehab....than on to sober living.....to finish what she started....this time....I pray....with a new found faith in our God.....
Praise God....our prayers have been heard...and acted upon....from the pit of despair....to hope....
