I’ve never defended any church or denomination or church figure who was clearly in the wrong. Never will, because to me, it’s NOT ABOUT THE CHURCH per se - to you, it’s ALL AOBUT the church.
I am predisposed to seeking the truth. You seem predisposed to protecting your church. Quite often, those goals do not line up.

you have absolutely no idea about which you speak, because ANY Catholic that worships anyone other than the Triune God is automatically EXCOMMUNICATED from the Catholic Church, “latae sententiae” which is a Latin phrase, meaning “sentence (already) passed”, used in the canon law of the Catholic Church.

When it comes to the Catholic Church you haven’t a clue.
I repeat Catholics only worship God, if they worship anyone or thing other they are automatically excommunicated and are therefore NOT Catholic.
