One interpretation is as good as another, as long as I convince myself that I am being guided by the Holy Spirit.

EVERYONE's interpretation of Scripture is their own personal interpretation. Whether it agrees with someone else's is irrelevant.

By adopting someone else's as yours, you are deciding by yourself, that theirs is correct, thus you are merely throwing in your lot with a whole bunch of other people.

Doing that does not mean that it's not your own personal interpretation. You still, as an individual, have made the determination that they are correct, thus, having your own personal interpretation.

NO ONE is immune from the charge.

So very true and well stated! The only finger pointing that’s going to work will be for those who point to Jesus as their savior. Those who point to the “someone” or “some entity” which they blame for erroneous beliefs will be told “I never knew you”.

One Doctors diagnosis is just as good a another ones, or even some one that has no medical training at all. If they disagree it is irrelevant.

If they adopt each others diagnosis they are merely throwing their lot with a whole bunch of other people.

After all you treat a hernia the exact same way you would coronary blockage, they are both surgery. Or treat Polio the same way you would diabetes. They are both diseases.

Please keep talking.

Your equivalency argument is nonsensical.

There IS TRUTH, and Christ told us how to discern that truth.

Interpretations are not all equal!

Excellent point and worth restating en toto!
