Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

This passage speaks of many things that persist to this day. The difference between wild and domesticated animals is explored, and the natural aversion of wild animals to man is explained. God decrees humans to be omnivores, that all meats and vegetables are available to him. The only restriction is against eating Blood, which is correctly described as containing the LIFE of the animal.

The other restrictions in this Covenant form the basis of the "Noahide Laws" that Rabbinical Judaism uses to describe a "Righteous Gentile". These are:

The prohibition of idolatry.
The prohibition of murder.
The prohibition of theft.
The prohibition of sexual immorality.
The prohibition of blasphemy.
The prohibition of eating flesh taken from an animal while it is still alive.
The requirement of maintaining courts to provide legal recourse.

The Symbol of this Covenant, The Rainbow, has been co-opted by unicorns, Jesse Jackson, leprechauns, and homosexuals, yet when I see one in the sky, I ALWAYS think of God's Covenant with Noah.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen
