Believing that only those who enter through the narrow gate abide with God in Heaven isn't really a stretch, that's why I became Catholic in the first place, because I didn't want to spend eternity in hell with the rest of the semi-believers.

Tell me again how large the Catholic religion is...And don't forget it is attempting to grow even larger with its ecumenical outreach and even drawing closer to its muzlim brothers...

You left out part of the verse you were trying to quote...

Mat_7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Apparently 'a few' to a Catholic is a few billion...I'm pretty sure that a 'few who find it' doesn't refer to billions of Catholics and muzlims...

Who has said there aren't many Catholics who could be in Hell?

Why you lumped mooselimbs with Catholics is beyond me.

I wasn’t quoting I was making an allusion. If you think I believe all Catholics are saved then you’re reading the wrong mind. In the States only 25% practice the Faith and more than half of them don’t believe what the Church teaches. No, I fear the saved are very few in number.
