No. That is when He will judge us, not forgive us us our sins. And the more sins you have been forgiven in the temporal world, the lest your time in Purgatory.
Another false premise. There is no purgatory, except in the minds of RC's.
We have been judged already. WE are sinners. Christ died so that we would have His righteousness IMPUTED to us when we BELIEVE in Him. That is what Scripture teaches. There is nothing the RC catechism can add, which makes your premise stronger.
Romans 4: ...18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, So shall your offspring be. 19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as deadsince he was about a hundred years oldand that Sarahs womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. 22 This is why it was credited to him as righteousness. 23 The words it was credited to him were written not for him alone, 24 but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousnessfor us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
What kind of God do you serve anyway? How can He judge us if we have already been forgiven? We are told to come boldly before the throne of God.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
If we come boldly before His throne and confess our sins it is HE who forgives us not some carnal so called priest.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.:
Now, if we confess our sins and He forgives them how in the world to Catholics think that once He has forgiven our sins He then turns around and judges us for those sins?
