Me too. I do see them now and then but very few in this area...though for a time they seemed to be multiplying. This is basically a red-neck area and you simply won't find people here putting out the welcome mat...so they don't stay long.
I was in a community in Ohio and saw one of the woman with the burka walking thru the super market....sent the chills up my spine.... just a very narrow slit for her eyes....best I can say was it was foreboding how she moved thru the store. I was very uncomfortable.
About 7 years ago I had gotten married and moved to Minnesota. I had some friends from Indiana come and we went to the Mall of America. The place was lousy with Burkas, working at the mall, I thought they were not allowed to work?
Now the ones who merely wear a head covering, I am OK with that. It does not freak me out. worked with women who just wore a hat or scarf. That was OK. As for the men. No use for them!
