I was raised presbyterian and as a teen I questioned their doctrine.

After actually reading the Bible, I first questioned why at church we creepily droned/chanted , about things including believing in the catholic church.

Let’s not even go into all of the vain repetitions and prayers to idols.

Saturday is the Sabbath.

Say what you want about how it changed, who changed it, or why. Simple fact is unless the Bible spells it out in Gods words that the Sabbath has changed, It hasn’t.

I don’t go to church, so this isn’t bashing any denomination.

I will say though, I don’t like the wasted money in churches on expensive buildings and the like.

We need a Tea Party for churches to take us back to our faiths founding document...The Holy Bible.

But scripture says you should not forsake "the assembling together with believers" (some translations say "your meeting together with the faithful" LINK) and says if there any disputes, you should take them to the church.

So it seems you have an opinion on a matter which you do not think important enough to do in real life?

I say this not in an accusatory way, but just to express my puzzlement as to how you would be so attached to the Word in theory but not in practice.

His calendar has no days named after gods, goddesses, creations...

The pope gregory calendar floats around our Heavenly Father’s calendar.

Today is a work day in His third month.. Tomorrow, and for four weeks, will actually be His seventh day Sabbath...

But then it will ‘change’ on the pope Gregory calendar next ‘month’, either Moons day PR Tiw’s day for four weeks...

But on His calendar, it never changes... His template is found in Ezekiel 46:1,
Shown throughout Torah and confirmed with each major life event of the Messiah of Israel..

New moons, Sabbaths and Feasts that are ignored or erased in Christianity are actually markers for our Messiah’s life (birth, circumcision, dedication, baptism, death, resting in tomb, and resurrection)

All of those are important on our Heavenly Father’s calendar for logical reasons.
on the worlds calendar? Not so much..

Do we actually believe the Word became flesh and dwelt among us or is that just symbolic and not ‘literal’?
Probably depends on who you follow....
