And they are very sparse on things such as ecclesiology and eschatology.

What do ecclesiology and eschatology mean?

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind

38 This is the first and greatest commandment.

39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.

40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Do you know of any one who honor these two simple commandments which takes in the rest of the commandments?

You can write a hundred thousand words to explain them but they are so simple that Jesus explained them in the little old parable of the sheep and goats Matt 25:31 to 46

This is all we need, we do not have to have a DR.s certificate, a masters degree or any thing else, that’s it.

He had many more things to reveal,>>>>>

Yes he told his twelve apostles.

John 16
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Peter wrote down some things to come and John wrote Revelation and it does not change our way to salvation any at all.

So my question to you would be if there is something else we need to know why didn’t John Or peter tell us?

The former deals with the nature and function of the church with its offices and gifts, which, left to the gospel alone, you would not know of the theology of the one new man, which Acts 15 deals with, with the work of Paul and Barnabas being important, and which Paul theologically explains in Ephesians and elsewhere, and confirmed in Rv. 5:9 .

And would not know of the various giftings described in 1Cor. 12-14 and seen in Acts somewhat, or of its polity as seen in 1Tim. 3 and elsewhere.

And the latter (eschatology) deals with the end times, and left to the gospels you would not know of the nature of the resurrection at Lord's coming and details of the judgment seat of Christ as described in 1Cor. 15, 1Thes. 4 and 2Thes, 2Pt. 3. and Rev.

Peter wrote down some things to come and John wrote Revelation and it does not change our way to salvation any at all.

But your Jesus only restriction eliminates them as well.

But tell us when and how you were born again, by coming to God as a soul damned for your works - not saved because of them - and destitute of any means or merit whereby you may escape your just and eternal punishment in Hell Fire and gain eternal life with God. And with contrite heart have cast your whole-hearted repentant faith upon the mercy of God in Christ, trusting the risen Divine Lord Jesus to save them by His sinless shed blood. (Rm. 3:9 - 5:1) And whose faith is thus counted as righteousness, but it is a faith that will follow Him.

By that same logic, why didn't Paul write about the last days instead of how John did in Revelation? Or why did John and Peter write about stuff and not Andrew (Peter's brother AND an Apostle), Philip, Bartholomew, Thaddeus or Thomas - they were just as much Apostles as Peter and John were? Who are we, really, to dictate to Almighty God who He chooses and what He chooses them for?

Nothing Paul wrote "changes" the way we are saved as he is consistent with what we are told Jesus said and God used him to further our understanding of God's nature, the Deity of Jesus, how we are to conduct ourselves in this present evil world, what to expect in the end times, the way our worship assemblies are set up, the role of sacred Scripture (all of it) in our lives and the responsibilities we have with each other. Could God have chosen any of the other Apostles to say what He led Paul to say? Sure, why not. But He didn't, and we are held accountable to receive and obey what Paul delivered to us from God through His word.
