Believing on the one he sent means complete obedience in all of his commandments.

ALL of them; eh??

Leviticus 15   (KJV)

And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.

And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.

Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.

And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

And he that sitteth on any thing whereon he sat that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

And if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

And what saddle soever he rideth upon that hath the issue shall be unclean.

10 And whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

11 And whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

12 And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.

13 And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.

14 And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the Lord unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:

15 And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord for his issue.

16 And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.

17 And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.

18 The woman also with whom man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even.

19 And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.

20 And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.

21 And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

22 And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

23 And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.

24 And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean.

25 And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.

26 Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.

27 And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

28 But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.

29 And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

30 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for her before the Lord for the issue of her uncleanness.

31 Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

32 This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed goeth from him, and is defiled therewith;

33 And of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that hath an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lieth with her that is unclean.

Why did you not start at the beginning of the chapter?

The first 11 verses conclusively prove the very words that you try to contest!

This is deception; you do Satan’s work well!

If it'll make ya happy...

1 John 2   (KJV)

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

I have kept ALL of these from my youth: what more do I lack?

Assurance can only come from the knowledge that one is following his master’s commandments.

To ALL those to claim to keep all the commandments; Jesus tells them to sell everything they have and give it to the poor.

I also must apologize for forgetting that your Doctorate is in Law while one of my Masters is in Theology.

So THAT's it!

I've wondered how you so easily beat me in these mental gymnastics!

I just have to convince my wife that Biblical languages are more important than cutting lawns and trimming hedges.

I hear you; Brother!

ALL of them; eh??

Funny thing about the Black Plague - It came to be often blamed upon the Jews because they didn't get infected nearly to the degree that others did - I wonder if that is because they followed the cleanliness and quarantine laws that YHWH prescribed...

Just sayin'...

And here is the important issue, at any point in the parable he could have died, and att he point of death what would his state have been? Here is a hint: He sure as heck would not have been "saved", he would have been lost.

That is why you are wrong and believe in the accursed gospel of salvation by faith AND works.

A prince, while he is a little child, is presumably as willful and as ignorant as other little children. Sometimes he may be very obedient and teachable and affectionate, and then he is happy and approved. At other times he may be unruly, self-willed, and disobedient, and then he is unhappy, and perhaps is chastised—but he is just as much a prince on the one day as on the other. It may be hoped that, as time goes on, he will learn to bring himself into willing and affectionate subjection to every right way, and then he will be more princely, but not more really a prince. He was born a prince" (C.I.Scofield, Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth).

It goes to show who the people who aren't sure of their salvation are trusting. If you're trusting God completely, there is no uncertainty.

Not only trusting God but BELIEVING Him when He so clearly tells us we can KNOW we have everlasting life through faith in Christ. Those who trust partly in Him and mostly in their own works and deeds, are rejecting His grace. Either it's ALL grace or all works, it cannot be both because then grace would not BE grace.

Still a son.

Nowhere does it ever say the father disowned him.

If only it was that easy .. It is that easy - even if you accept the commandments as the Jews say they are (which I don't). But it is easier to keep Torah as it IS, rather than accept the Hlalkha rules of the Jews.

He absolutely did so.

You surely know that is false.

He didn’t tell that to Nicodemus, nor Joseph of Arimathea.

He said it only to those to whom their wealth was an impediment to their salvation.

You’re getting as bad as Metmom with the false claims.

It is clear that the author of that site is not a believer!

His opinion WRT the ‘logic’ of commandments is sad to even read.

And his inclusion of the Takanot and Ma’asim is certainly contrary to both OT and NT. That is why they were “hung on the cross” with Yeshua.

of course. But it is not right. It is Halhakic tradition of the commands, which is different than Torah

But those are all Biblical quotes. Aren’t they inspired?
