There’s a bit of a difference between two consenting adults of the same gender wanting to have sex and an adult wanting to have sex with an underage child who can’t consent.
What makes you think they won’t start to think they can consent? In many places you can have an abortion and be handed contraception without parental consent, which has contributed to destigmatisng underage sex. IMHO, the process of destigmatising underage sex, eventually to be followed by legalising and then normalising, has already begun. Having said that, I believe polygamy will follow before paedophillia does, but the process is already under way.
