Yes, I think you almost got it right. Although more precisely it is not so much that conservatives are uneducated as it is that the uneducated are conservative. Bearing in mind that “uneducated” is a euphemism for “Unenlightened”. Meanwhile, the ethnic group which has the highest percentage of high-school dropouts votes 95% Dem.
