I know some of those involved facing discipline and they are not guilty of anything other than following their faith and asking questions. I have another friend who was excommunicated last fall for blogging her concerns about church history and asking her Visiting teachers too many questions. For nevermormons - those are women who come over once a month to check on female members and teach a ‘faith promoting’ message.

One of the things that started me on my way out of Mormonism was finding out about “Strengthening the Church Members Committee” which spies on members and reports their books/writings/interviews and now internet comments and activity to the LDS church for discipline. For the Mormon defenders - ask yourself what kind of “church” spies on its own members?!?!

No religion likes too many questions.
