I’d say most people know it’s a trad “weak point” by now, at least those who have been paying attention for the last 10 or so years.

For instance if I were to say “I love my country but I do not care for its government anymore.” That puts a person in danger among the “Constitution is divinely inspired” people.

I don’t care for the government, but that has nothing to do with my trad-ness. I was suspicious of our government when I was a Novus Ordite too.

The constitution is a tremendous and good document, but divinely inspired...No.

At least in my own experience the sola scriptura crowd, somewhat ironically, seems most likely to insist that the constitution is divinely inspired.
